is this really happening?

this was my response on a hot summer friday night in our new home when dave proposed... what started as just a relaxing fun evening together after work, turned into THE story. i guess really this is dave's story and not mine, as from what i understand i inadvertently ruined all the previous "attempts". however, as the question was being raised, i was laughing - sure, we'll get married someday. a few more, no - i'm seriouses and - well, here we are.
